Bangladesh
is a small and so poor country. Bangladesh is over population country with 160
million of total population. At least 45 million people in Bangladesh are
living under poverty. It is almost one third of the total population. A
significant proportion of them are living in extreme poverty. (http:/www.ruralpovertyportal.org/country/home/tags/Bangladesh)Bangladeshi people are so poor because of the lack of instrument or resources, flood, calamity, disaster, droughts, overpopulation. While

I see in the Bible, God is always being with the poor. Those who are poor, helpless, widows, and orphans do not have to worry of their situation because of the Almighty God is helper for poor people.
Bangladesh is poor country, it is true but the assurance is that our God is always with them. Bangladeshi has found His favor. Our God will protect our country and save the poor people. Our savior Jesus Christ came to the earth for the poor people so that they become rich (2 Cor. 8:9).
Though the Scriptures affirm that there will always be poor people in Deut. 15:11, it tells us of many principles we can use to transform our countries through triggering, sustaining, and innovating its implications for the greater good of our people. The best way to get started is to take the big picture of God's agenda for wealth-making in developing countries and translate it into the practical social, economic, and political life of a Bangladeshi.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I read one of Prof. Muhammad Yunus' book. Though the title "Creating a World without Poverty" is arguable, I appreciate his efforts in helping his own countrymen. :-)
I understand the present reality of your country bro. Is being poor is a sin? or a preference of good and bad? Poverty is in the mind and you need to enlighten first the mind of the people and the rest will follow and we know that it's a lifetime battle.
ReplyDeleteOur savior Jesus Christ came to the earth for the poor people so that they become rich (2 Cor. 8:9) the people who are really poor are the people who are not at peace with the Lord. Jesus is speaking of true reaches not the totality of riches of this world. That even we combine this entire world could offer cannot compare to the riches that our God prepares for us. We are rich because we have Christ.
